"Oh the miraculous energy that flows between two people who care enough to get beyond surfaces and games, who are willing to take the risks of being totally open, of listening, of responding with the whole heart. How much we can do for each other." -Alex Noble
Hmm... I must say that the Universe has such a way about things. Sometimes I'm truly awed; OK, I'm always awed. Today of all days I just happened to click on Sarah Slean on my profile, and this blog came up. And this is the the same day you post a quotation that seems to be speaking directly to me. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate the serendipity. After being single for a very long time, and then going through a...well "fling" of sorts. I so badly want the real thing again; I can just still remember what it's like to not have the games or facades. Cheers!
I daydream constantly. I am curious, independent, and stubborn. I embrace the Oxford comma. Technology intimidates me. Mountains entice me. I throw my head back when I laugh. I could go the rest of my life without a television. Butterscotch pudding is better than candy. I want to live in the trees. Boredom is impossible. Free will is incontrovertible. I value honesty, integrity, and vulnerability. I'm a kid at heart. Few things anger me, but mediocrity is one of them. I ask why. I love to get my hands dirty. I am resilient. I seek creative outlets. I believe in the power of play. I get up when I fall. I long for travel, adventure, new faces, absurd ideas. I think scars are beautiful. I know how to live alone. I love the smells of campfire, old books, and hot chai. I don't know what I'd do without my mom. I believe in the art of possibility. I still get chills whenever I watch the sun rise.
